Tomás Sobral kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Karapinar's Kadim Uğur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abílio Castelo Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rasim Kara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Garcez in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Bacardi Black Bats getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lucílio Aveiro hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Xavier Fontes put in a rough tackle. After 19 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Fontes. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kadim Uğur sped through Bacardi Black Bats's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abílio Castelo Branco. Abílio Castelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kadim Uğur, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Enis Akpolat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karapinar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If David Garcez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Karapinar getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Enis Akpolat hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Kadim Uğur came free, but Abílio Castelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Garcez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rasim Kara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abílio Castelo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadim Uğur in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Enis Akpolat came free, but Abílio Castelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enis Akpolat took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abílio Castelo Branco. Abílio Castelo Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The supporters of Karapinar booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karapinar's Rasim Kara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Karapinar from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Garcez made a kick off. Abílio Castelo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gani Bahar in the 55th minute of play. Abílio Castelo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cafer Tatar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Karapinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cemil Savtekin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cafer Tatar in the 62nd minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Abílio Castelo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasim Kara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Garcez, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Águas. Abílio Castelo Branco made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tekin Özhan sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Ali Cafer Tatar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abílio Castelo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abílio Castelo Branco was a little too slow when Kadim Uğur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 86th minute, Kadim Uğur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abílio Castelo Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Karapinar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
