The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Inge Godholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Laurin. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Oscar Walmarsson got a free kick in the 5th minute. Johannes Torstensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inge Godholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Carl Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Godholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Garoa in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Johannes Torstensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasret Şahinalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Linköpings AIK's Inge Godholm got control of the ball when Silvestre Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Linköpings AIK's Oscar Walmarsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oscar Walmarsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Linköpings AIK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oscar Walmarsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Linköpings AIK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Inge Godholm had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Enzo Ferrer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Inge Godholm came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Simoneta FC's Enzo Ferrer. But to his dismay, Enzo Ferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Linköpings AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Natalio Jerrald scored to the left of an out of position Inge Godholm, making the score, 2-0. After 43 minutes, Silvio Gregory mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simoneta FC and the Linköpings AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hasret Şahinalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Svensson in the 43rd minute of the match. Hasret Şahinalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Torstensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Torstensson to make the kick off. Natalio Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Inge Godholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Godholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Laurin in the 65th minute of the match. Petter Billberg hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The Linköpings AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Godholm should have stopped the shot. Linköpings AIK's Inge Godholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Laurin in the 79th minute of play. Johannes Torstensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hasret Şahinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simoneta FC's Gualterio Iraitz was substituted for Joel Senio. Johannes Torstensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Hasret Şahinalp made a huge save. Silvestre Garoa scored 4-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inge Godholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Natalio Jerrald notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Linköpings AIK's Inge Godholm. Inge Godholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jens-Ove Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasret Şahinalp having to interfere. Simoneta FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
