Claudio Urti charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Urti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Claudio Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Rubim Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Proud FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubim Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Serafino Salvidor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascoal Modesto. Red Proud FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Salvidor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Osvaldo Rosalio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jorge Faria. In the 31st minute, Cayetano Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascoal Modesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Herrera in the 32nd minute of play. Roman Herrera struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pascoal Modesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Sardaukar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubim Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to S.C. Sardaukar getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Serafino Salvidor hit a great ball. Osvaldo Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubim Melo in the 52nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Gizon during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Red Proud FC booed when S.C. Sardaukar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.C. Pascoal Modesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Ramalho during the 69th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.C. Sardaukar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
