Julius Fardal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aku Kaukomaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saga TF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uljas Heinola was slow to take the kick. During this time Palloketut's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Uljas Heinola almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saga TF's Julius Fardal did a great save. Julius Fardal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaapo Veikkanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magnus Egeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Kaapo Veikkanen made a precise shot to the right of Julius Fardal. After a defensive mix-up in Saga TF's zone, Kaapo Veikkanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Fardal came out of the goal and Kaapo Veikkanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julius Fardal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teemu Valkealahti in the 63rd minute of the match. Kaapo Veikkanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Fardal having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Veijo Lähtelä mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palloketut and the Saga TF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Veijo Lähtelä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Kaapo Veikkanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Fardal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
