Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Leon Valkeneers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the game, Ahmet Emir Vezir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ESPİYESPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions United the free kick. The supporters of Lions United booed when ESPİYESPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Emir Vezir didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the ESPİYESPOR defense, Carl Vinckx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nejat Ersavaş. The ESPİYESPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nejat Ersavaş should have stopped the shot. Dries Coremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nejat Ersavaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dries Coremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nejat Ersavaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu-Maxim Toussain in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, ESPİYESPOR's Süreyya Özsungur seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Süreyya Özsungur the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ESPİYESPOR protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Süreyya Özsungur had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Süreyya Özsungur kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to ESPİYESPOR getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bedir Şikel hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathieu-Maxim Toussain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nejat Ersavaş. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Leon Valkeneers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Nejat Ersavaş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nejat Ersavaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Vinckx in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, ESPİYESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Dries Coremans came free, but Nejat Ersavaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Lions United's Leon Valkeneers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

ESPİYESPOR's Nejat Ersavaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Valkeneers in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Vinckx in the 54th minute of play forced ESPİYESPOR's goalkeeper Nejat Ersavaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Leon Valkeneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nejat Ersavaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nejat Ersavaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Valkeneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nejat Ersavaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Valkeneers in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Carl Vinckx made a precise shot to the right of Nejat Ersavaş. ESPİYESPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Valkeneers in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nejat Ersavaş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Mathieu-Maxim Toussain notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of ESPİYESPOR's Nejat Ersavaş. Nejat Ersavaş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Dries Coremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nejat Ersavaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arda Ozan Turaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gillis Heirremans having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Samuel Van Acker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gillis Heirremans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Ozan Turaç in the 79th minute of the match. If Ahmet Emir Vezir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Andris Van den Haute. Nejat Ersavaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Valkeneers in the 92nd minute of play. Nejat Ersavaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Vinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lions United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
