Moisés Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Perez in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Salles during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Bruno Salles hit a great ball. Moisés Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis da Rocha in the 7th minute of play. Narciso da Costa hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Crisólia FBPA's Luiz Fernando Furlan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Moisés Antunes was a little too slow when Eugênio Perez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Glauco Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Tasso in the 19th minute of play. Moisés Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fernando Furlan in the 21st minute. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Giuseppe Queiroz hit a great ball. Glauco Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eugênio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crisólia FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41stth minute of the game Clóvis da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monumento Sports's Moisés Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo José Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Claudinho Alves hit a great ball. Giuseppe Queiroz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Furlan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Moisés Antunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fernando Furlan went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Moisés Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis da Rocha in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Crisólia FBPA's Eugênio Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After 74 minutes, Narciso da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crisólia FBPA and the Monumento Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Antunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso da Costa went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Eugênio Perez notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Monumento Sports's Moisés Antunes. Moisés Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moisés Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis da Rocha in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Eugênio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eugênio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moisés Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clóvis da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Eugênio Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Moisés Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Crisólia FBPA fully deserved thier win.
