Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beyhan Enginalp started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Anıl Oker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Elis Färber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Özyurek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, MARAZZINO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behlül Baroğlu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Pickartz in the 8th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfi Özyurek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes MARAZZINO got a freekick which was hit by Aytuğ Tokyüz. After 13 played minutes, Tiger's Arvid Wacker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lütfi Özyurek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tiger reached it. When Beyhan Enginalp came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the MARAZZINO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beyhan Enginalp couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tiger getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Albrecht Kowalke hit a great ball. Lütfi Özyurek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Pickartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes MARAZZINO got a freekick which was hit by Beyhan Enginalp. 30 minutes into the game, Tiger's Ulrich Pickartz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lütfi Özyurek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lütfi Özyurek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Pickartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Aytuğ Tokyüz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Tiger's Arvid Wacker got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ulrich Pickartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beyhan Enginalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolf Poll having to interfere. The MARAZZINO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tiger were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulrich Pickartz made a kick off. Cevahir Ülgenalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Tiger's Ulrich Pickartz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lütfi Özyurek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wolf Poll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ünal Er in the 66th minute of the match. Wolf Poll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beyhan Enginalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiger's Edmund Schoettle was substituted for Ulrich Pickartz. After a defensive mix-up in Tiger's zone, Beyhan Enginalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wolf Poll came out of the goal and Beyhan Enginalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of MARAZZINO booed when Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Herber didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiger's Elis Färber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lütfi Özyurek. That made the score 1-2 after 93 minutes of play. 97 minutes into the game, Behlül Baroğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MARAZZINO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiger the free kick. The Tiger supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tiger would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
