C.'s Nuno Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Gilberto Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Restu came free, but Nuno Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Terra's late challenge caught a Cremonese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliézer Terra helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 minutes, Jose Tab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cremonese and the Mexilhão F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jose Tab hit a great ball. Felippe Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Penha in the 20th minute. Nuno Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Restu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 41 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Perez. In the 43rd minute, Desiderio Restu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 46th minute of the match Delmar George shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Donatello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nuno Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Cremonese made a substitution. Ildefonso Savion replaced Delmar George. Cremonese's Julio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Mineiro in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Restu during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 minutes of play, Cremonese's Eustaquio Azibar made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Donatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genaro Jaen came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nuno Donatello could save by the left post. Desiderio Restu had several of the Mexilhão F. C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Nuno Donatello as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nuno Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Restu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Desiderio Restu hit a great ball. Desiderio Restu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Mexilhão F. C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cremonese to win.
