Dudley Tovar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Literski, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Iwan Hryc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gary Gamble went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Tobiasz Henryk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dudley Tovar. Creekers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobiasz Henryk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Iwan Hryc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Lassiter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Herbert Literski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Joga Bonito getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ziemowit Brzonkala hit a great ball. Gary Gamble could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Iwan Hryc made a huge save. Gary Gamble who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Iwan Hryc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tobiasz Henryk scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dudley Tovar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herbert Literski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iwan Hryc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudley Hadley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match Creekers got a corner. Joga Bonito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfred Crowder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herbert Literski kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Oscar Lassiter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Hryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Joga Bonito's Herbert Literski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dudley Tovar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Tobiasz Henryk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Joga Bonito's Herbert Literski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dudley Tovar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 43 minutes into the game, Kajetan Jarosz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Dudley Tovar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute Gustaw Kolbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudley Tovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Creekers's Fred Renteria was substituted for Dudley Hadley. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Renteria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dudley Tovar made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Herbert Literski sent off a good shot on target. Dudley Tovar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herbert Literski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 60 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobiasz Henryk got free with Dudley Tovar in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Creekers's Dudley Tovar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Creekers from getting a goal against them. After 74 minutes, Tobiasz Henryk made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. Creekers's Dudley Tovar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Herbert Literski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudley Tovar having to interfere. When Creekers's Fred Renteria, in the 87th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. 88 minutes into the match, Herbert Literski notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of Creekers's Dudley Tovar. Dudley Tovar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Szymon Maciejewski made a precise shot to the right of Dudley Tovar. Creekers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Joga Bonito eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
