The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the REAL VASCO RIO defense, Aleksandar Mitrović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Prestes. The REAL VASCO RIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Prestes should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Melo got free with Marinko Božović in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 9 played minutes REAL VASCO RIO got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Souza. A collision led to REAL VASCO RIO getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Natã Nogueira hit a great ball. REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bojan Lopičić in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Marinko Božović got control of the ball when Eriberto Sergipano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st play minute Emerson Trevisan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marinko Božović. 1-1. After 23 minutes of play, REAL VASCO RIO's Pedrão Souza made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marinko Božović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aleksandar Mitrović scored 2-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Percival Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedrão Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marinko Božović came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedrão Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Eriberto Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REAL VASCO RIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Luciano Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ljubiša Savić in the 43rd minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krsman Savović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Percival Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emerson Trevisan was the one to do the kick off. REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krsman Savović in the 52nd minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, REAL VASCO RIO's Eriberto Sergipano made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marinko Božović was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 60 played minutes REAL VASCO RIO got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Trevisan. Obren Kiš kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Eriberto Sergipano made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Marinko Božović tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Trevisan came free, but Marinko Božović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s zone, Eriberto Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marinko Božović came out of the goal and Eriberto Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vladimir Živanović hit a great ball. Emerson Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bojan Lopičić got free with Percival Prestes in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emerson Trevisan took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marinko Božović. Marinko Božović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. When Emerson Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL VASCO RIO's protests and gave Emerson Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. 86 minutes into the match, Bojan Lopičić notched a goal, 7-3, to the right of REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes. Percival Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. REAL VASCO RIO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Bojan Lopičić scored to the left of an out of position Percival Prestes, making the score, 7-4.
