Mississauga DareDevils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Perfumo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Edmílson Perfumo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Jenkins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Greg Suggs notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of TiGrEs Fx's Serafo Casuso. Serafo Casuso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osvaldo Jenkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Perfumo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Osvaldo Jenkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Perfumo in the 21st minute of play. TiGrEs Fx's Serafo Casuso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Brasseur in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Curran in the 26th minute of play forced TiGrEs Fx's goalkeeper Serafo Casuso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Jenkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Perfumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-4 became the score in the 35th minute when Taurino Torrealba elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Mississauga DareDevils's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Perfumo came free, but Osvaldo Jenkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Perfumo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Jenkins saved Mississauga DareDevils from getting behind. The supporters of TiGrEs Fx booed when Mississauga DareDevils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linwood Metz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Jenkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Perfumo in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes, Garry Despins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mississauga DareDevils and the TiGrEs Fx players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Perfumo in the 78th minute of play forced Mississauga DareDevils's goalkeeper Osvaldo Jenkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
