The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiquinho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Radius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiquinho Soares in the 7th minute of play forced Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Mario Radius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aracatiara EC's Mario Radius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Schmidt in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando da Silveira during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Fernando da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ricardinho Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovani Carioca in the 13th minute. Zandarin FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manfredo Saldanha in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Manfredo Saldanha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mario Radius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mario Radius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiquinho Soares in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aracatiara EC's Adilson Cabral got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Mario Radius came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Zandarin FC's Tiquinho Soares. But to his dismay, Tiquinho Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute Tiquinho Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Radius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Radius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredinho Camargo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Aracatiara EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ricardinho Vander hit a great ball. Tiquinho Soares took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Radius. Mario Radius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Aracatiara EC defense, Tiquinho Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Radius. The Aracatiara EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Radius should have stopped the shot. Mario Radius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Schmidt in the 43rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiquinho Soares during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aracatiara EC booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiquinho Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiquinho Soares was the one to do the kick off. Aracatiara EC's Mario Radius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Aracatiara EC from getting a goal against them. Tiquinho Soares scored 0-9 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Radius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Aracatiara EC's Mario Radius got control of the ball when Tiquinho Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aracatiara EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Tiquinho Soares scored to the left of an out of position Mario Radius, making the score, 0-10. The supporters of Aracatiara EC booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Radius was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Tiquinho Soares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiquinho Soares really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. When the match was over Zandarin FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aracatiara EC throughout the match.
