After having played for 5 minutes, Palmiro Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabadim Harammes PRD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmiro Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute Leandro Marega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD got a freekick which was hit by Alípio Freitas. In the 17th minute, Florencio Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Palmiro Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Pitin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Palermo AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sabadim Harammes PRD:s goal. Israel Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Cordeiro in the 27th minute of play. Palermo AFC's Israel Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Marega in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Palermo AFC defense, Leandro Marega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Betadur. The Palermo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Betadur should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Marega in the 43rd minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Israel Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palermo AFC's Israel Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcino França in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palermo AFC's Mauricio Ur got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Severino Barros made the kick off in the second half. Severino Barros hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the game, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Vasco Caiado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Betadur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Leandro Marega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Israel Betadur. That made the score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Israel Betadur made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Adélio Gameiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute Godofredo Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Manso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Sabadim Harammes PRD's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Gabon came free, but Alfredo Manso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Gabon hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmiro Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Alcino França dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Palermo AFC's Israel Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Marega in the 75th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Marega. Palermo AFC's Israel Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Palermo AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcino França got free with Israel Betadur in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Palmiro Cordeiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Israel Betadur to make any attempt to save it. Palmiro Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Betadur having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcino França got free with Israel Betadur in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
