The throw-in from Luisito Errando in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zandarin FC's Reynaldo Carioca. Edelmiro Martxot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiquinho Soares went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Marcial Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Walmir Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Edelmiro Martxot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Schmidt in the 23rd minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Edelmiro Martxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Martxot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiquinho Soares went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmir Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Edelmiro Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zandarin FC. Manfredo Saldanha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Aves Negras defense, Tiquinho Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Martxot. The Aves Negras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Martxot should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Zandarin FC's Tiquinho Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Martxot. That made the score 8-1 after 49 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiquinho Soares was the one to do the kick off. Tiquinho Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiquinho Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Germano Souza hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Rameriz got free with Tiago Gabriel Capixaba in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edelmiro Martxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Aves Negras's Aureliano Ricart got a free kick in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Schmidt came free, but Edelmiro Martxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zandarin FC's Tiquinho Soares in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aves Negras's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Iker Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aves Negras's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Bittor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Tiquinho Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Gregorio Gumaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gregorio Gumaro really showed his touch with that goal: 8-2. 91 minutes into the game, Luisito Errando threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zandarin FC's Reynaldo Carioca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Walmir Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Zandarin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Aves Negras's Gregorio Gumaro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aves Negras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zandarin FC.
