German Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Toninho Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Admon in the 40th minute of play. Giovani Carioca hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, PauoL & The Queen's Serafino Gustau got a free kick in the 44th minute. Astor Fraco scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Aracatiara EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PauoL & The Queen were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovani Cearense to make the kick off. Astor Fraco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Toninho Tepedino made a huge save. Ian Andrade's late challenge caught a PauoL & The Queen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
