With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yanis Devriendt in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ştefan Goicea saved Fc S.Zaharesti from getting behind. The corner led to Winksele 2016's Dyllan Wery getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 15th minute, Ion Oloieru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sem Severens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sem Severens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Cămărășan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Winksele 2016 booed when Fc S.Zaharesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Adomniței didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ştefan Goicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanis Devriendt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ion Oloieru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ştefan Goicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yanis Devriendt in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Fc S.Zaharesti booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jannis Preuveneer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ştefan Goicea was a little too slow when Yanis Devriendt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liviu Săvescu was the one to do the kick off. Winksele 2016's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc S.Zaharesti the free kick. Fc S.Zaharesti's Ştefan Goicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wannes Louckx in the 75th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Liviu Săvescu could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross.
