Black Rose 1979's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iurie Oargă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Club Vertigo's Ionică Goma to fire away a dangerous shot which Patricio Fillol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iurie Oargă hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Remus Greavu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Remus Greavu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Greavu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Orlin in the 38th minute of the match. Club Vertigo's Remus Greavu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder da Silva in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Hernan Florin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Rose 1979's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Vertigo the free kick. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remus Greavu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Orlin's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After the first half Black Rose 1979 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder da Silva made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Berceanu to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes, Ronaldinho Ronaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Vertigo and the Black Rose 1979 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ronaldinho Ronaldo hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Placido Richie. Club Vertigo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hélder da Silva 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. In the 71st match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Richie to maneuver through the defense. Remus Greavu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enzo-Nicolás Pérez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 90 minute of play. When the match was over Black Rose 1979 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Vertigo throughout the match.
