After 10 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Giertych. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Astafei in the 11th minute of play forced FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Emil Majtyka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Majtyka came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by RED BLUE STAR's Codruț Astafei. But to his dismay, Codruț Astafei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when FC Wrocanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Lepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigore Buzgar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Majtyka. FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 24 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Chmielecki. After having played for 25 minutes, Codruț Astafei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED BLUE STAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codruț Astafei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Narcis Bălace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grigore Buzgar might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Majtyka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grigore Buzgar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Jaroslaw Przewozik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Borcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislaw Pstrongowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nicolae Borcea made a huge save. Nicolae Borcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Brak in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislaw Pstrongowski was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Pstrongowski in the 51st minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Nicolae Borcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the RED BLUE STAR defense, Stanislaw Pstrongowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolae Borcea. The RED BLUE STAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolae Borcea should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Stanislaw Pstrongowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Borcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Astafei scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Majtyka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the game, Grigore Buzgar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED BLUE STAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wrocanka the free kick. The supporters of FC Wrocanka booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Buzgar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, FC Wrocanka's Stanislaw Pstrongowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolae Borcea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Nicolae Borcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Brak in the 90th minute of play. FC Wrocanka were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
