Santo Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Estebano in the 6th minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Valérien Jouglet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Cloyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martial Jay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Estebano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valérien Jouglet having to make a save. Fidel Normando hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Stade Ygossais's Armand Boissin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Cloyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Francisco Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martial Jay, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. But to his dismay, Armand Boissin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Remigio Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Cloyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Boissin in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Joy Division Athletic getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Justo Millrick hit a great ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Pasqual made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Martial Jay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Francisco Cloyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Cloyo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martial Jay went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Normando in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Fidel Normando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valérien Jouglet. Stade Ygossais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Normando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Francisco Cloyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cédric Louison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Cloyo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Martial Jay sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Cloyo was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Martial Jay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martial Jay really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. Francisco Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Boissin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Valérien Jouglet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Stade Ygossais's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
