Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Vandamme in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Ramirez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Wigers in the 20th minute of play forced REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Alex Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the REAL COHOLICS defense, Angelo Vandamme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Ramirez. The REAL COHOLICS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Ramirez should have stopped the shot. Alex Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Wigers in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Dark Energy's Rob Pulix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Ramirez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 minutes REAL COHOLICS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andreas Vos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Andreas Vos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel De Gracia in the 41st minute of play forced Dark Energy's goalkeeper Siebe Ketelers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Vos came free, but Alex Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Dark Energy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Vandamme made a kick off. Andreas Vos's late challenge caught a REAL COHOLICS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Vos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dark Energy getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alek van Kelfs hit a great ball. Bernard Wigers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alex Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siebe Ketelers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel De Gracia, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Siebe Ketelers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Tijero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Alek van Kelfs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Energy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alek van Kelfs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Dark Energy's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel De Gracia came free, but Siebe Ketelers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. REAL COHOLICS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Rob Pulix scored to the left of an out of position Alex Ramirez, making the score, 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dark Energy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
