Evaristo Savier started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Cássio Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Facopo FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Millo de Haedo the free kick. The supporters of El Millo de Haedo booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Savier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enio Trigo having to make a save. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Enio Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Feliciano Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enio Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Enio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Gilabert in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Savier came free, but Enio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Schmidt in the 22nd minute of play. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Savier in the 24th minute of the match. Gustavo Eusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Enio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Gilabert in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Savier in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enio Trigo saved Facopo FBPA from getting behind. The supporters of Facopo FBPA booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Eusko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Rezende in the 42nd minute. Aristides Damario might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enio Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Damario ran back to his position shaking his head. Anselmo Matorin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Feliciano Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Millo de Haedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Rezende to make the kick off. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Damario in the 51st minute of the match. Dé Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's Evaristo Savier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enio Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Flávio Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo got control of the ball when George Drake tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joélson Machado's late challenge caught a El Millo de Haedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joélson Machado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Joélson Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 63 in the game by Evaristo Savier from a close distance when the talented Enio Trigo managed to make a qualified save. Facopo FBPA's players were relieved. In the 69th minute of the match, George Drake got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enio Trigo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Joélson Machado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. In the 73rd minute, Pedro Luís Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Enio Trigo. Facopo FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Schmidt got free with Enio Trigo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Savier in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Evaristo Savier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enio Trigo. Evaristo Savier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. If George Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute Martin Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Aristides Damario fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Facopo FBPA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Evaristo Savier scored to the left of an out of position Enio Trigo, making the score, 0-6. Enio Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luís Schmidt went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When the match was over El Millo de Haedo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Facopo FBPA throughout the match.
