Atlético Matorrales's Jacobo Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Vilanova in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Vilanova came free, but Jacobo Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Ponc charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Ponc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Daniel Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Vilanovas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Jacobo Telesforo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atlético Matorrales's Jacobo Telesforo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Matorrales from getting a goal against them.
