When Tito Hagedorn fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capo de Provincia's protests and gave Tito Hagedorn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Capo de Provincia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Hagedorn to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Ulises Ongile in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Capo de Provincia's Mario Jesus Massuh. Jeronimo Avaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Nofre having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Jeronimo Avaria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Nofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Avaria made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Ulises Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Gipuzkoa. Albino Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Avaria in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Efraín Soler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Tito Hagedorn got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jeronimo Avaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Nofre having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Avaria in the 78th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Albino Nofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Efraín Soler. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jeronimo Avaria sped through Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albino Nofre. Capo de Provincia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
