An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulaziz Katib in the 18th minute of play forced UD ZAS's goalkeeper Rey Cerezuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Necmi Onuralp notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela. Rey Cerezuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd match minute, UD ZAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Obarenes to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Abdulaziz Katib ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdulaziz Katib to make the kick off. Rey Cerezuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulaziz Katib in the 53rd minute of the match. UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müfit Usluer in the 53rd minute of play. Yiğit Başer took the corner. UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save UD ZAS from getting a goal against them. Rey Cerezuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğit Başer in the 66th minute of play. Rey Cerezuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Özsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rey Cerezuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müfit Usluer in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Abdulaziz Katib cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Rey Cerezuela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
