Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horacio Barcaiztegui started the match with the kick off. Christovao Haces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Kelaidonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Kelaidonis came free, but Christovao Haces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahri Rafiz scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christovao Haces, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christovao Haces came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Navigators's Cenan Suer. But to his dismay, Cenan Suer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Christovao Haces came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Navigators's Kostas Kelaidonis. But to his dismay, Kostas Kelaidonis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Christovao Haces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Kelaidonis in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Bahri Rafiz made a precise shot to the right of Christovao Haces. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After the first half Navigators were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yakut Kudret made a kick off. Cemalettin Şahbaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Elvira, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Yakut Kudret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navigators made a substitution. Bilal Direm replaced Demircan Sabir. Navigators's Burç Akıncıbey was substituted for Hayyam İpekli. In the 60th minute Kostas Kelaidonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Kelaidonis in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birjaio Masdeu to maneuver through the defense. Christovao Haces made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Kelaidonis in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Horacio Barcaiztegui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Navigators the free kick. After 75 played minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Barcaiztegui. The long shot by Kostas Kelaidonis in the 76th minute really tested Christovao Haces's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eren Vezir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Christovao Haces made a huge save. Palos Ozaolaza's late challenge caught a Navigators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palos Ozaolaza helped the player get up and apologised. When Monte Valdovinos fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's protests and gave Monte Valdovinos a yellow card for diving instead. Monte Valdovinos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Cemalettin Şahbaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Elvira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Navigators's Christovao Haces threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kostas Kelaidonis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Christovao Haces was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Kostas Kelaidonis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kostas Kelaidonis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Navigators's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
