The audience thought a goal was coming when Erivaldo Furlan got free with Grigore Ozon in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grigore Ozon made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Erivaldo Furlan sent off a good shot on target. Renatinho Paiva struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Grigore Ozon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EoDu Uai Sôccer. The crowd rose to their feet as EoDu Uai Sôccer's Durvalino de Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Grigore Ozon. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Ion Pârâianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sever Miclea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the EoDu Uai Sôccer defense, Marin Puric kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Barreto. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Barreto should have stopped the shot.

Renatinho Paiva scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Ozon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marin Puric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Yan Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Pârâianu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Raureni Academy's Sever Miclea suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. Bebeto Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
