Nicolas Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Hjálmar Jónsson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Mauro Otsoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicolas Kiliz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Claudio Biaggio got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Mauro Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Biaggio in the 22nd minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulo Arnau fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave Paulo Arnau a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Polly Magoo Juniors booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Isac Wållander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Kiliz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Polly Magoo Juniors's Mauro Otsoa. But to his dismay, Mauro Otsoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 41 minutes, Aquiles Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the Polly Magoo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Francho to make the kick off. When Ovidio Birila fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave Ovidio Birila a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ovidio Birila hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Saul Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Arnau hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Maravilla's Nicolas Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Julian Urritz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polly Magoo Juniors the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mauro Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polly Magoo Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Otsoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Kiliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Aquiles Bautista was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Aquiles Bautista got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Isac Wållander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Kiliz came out of the goal and Isac Wållander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Claudio Biaggio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the Polly Magoo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Polly Magoo Juniors's Casper Telin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicolas Kiliz but with some difficulty. 87 minutes into the game, Polly Magoo Juniors's Mauro Otsoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Kiliz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Polly Magoo Juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
