The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezary Gruchacz got free with Jaroslav Kaczynski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Majdoch in the 16th minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Edward Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Illuminati getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Szczepan Motyl hit a great ball. Szczepan Motyl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Mielak having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Fabiano Rago got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Illuminati supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Illuminati would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
