Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zé Ortiz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zé Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Santo Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when IGUIPORÃ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. IGUIPORÃ FC were furious when Ezequiel Quintal was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 13th match minute, IGUIPORÃ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Quintal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Diego Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Bernebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Trigo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Txurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Txurio having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Zé Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IGUIPORÃ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Zé Alvarenga got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Deivid Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Percy Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IGUIPORÃ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Luz y Fuerza the free kick. After 44 played minutes IGUIPORÃ FC got a freekick which was hit by Percy Berger. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelino Basajaun to make the kick off. Deivid Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 minutes of play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Deivid Quadros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Txurio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santo Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Trigo in the 66th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Deportivo Luz y Fuerza got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Basajaun. Deivid Quadros hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Deivid Quadros struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Santo Txurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IGUIPORÃ FC. After some careless play in the Deportivo Luz y Fuerza defense, Deivid Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Txurio. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Txurio should have stopped the shot. IGUIPORÃ FC's Gildo Albuquerque was substituted for Ricardo Magalhães. IGUIPORÃ FC's Dadá Fernandez was substituted for Deivid Quadros. After 76 played minutes IGUIPORÃ FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Ortiz. The supporters of IGUIPORÃ FC booed when Deportivo Luz y Fuerza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Tibalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Weather in the 81st minute of the match. Santo Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Trigo in the 85th minute of play. Ciro Criston hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in IGUIPORÃ FC's zone, Eusebio Tibalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Motta came out of the goal and Eusebio Tibalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Marcelino Basajaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Antonio Abeitia kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes in the game, Dadá Fernandez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Santo Txurio having to interfere. IGUIPORÃ FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
