Gentil Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristupas Vaičiūnas in the 14th minute. Basarab Baldovinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Beaton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Baldovinescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basarab Baldovinescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Beaton's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertas Marcišauskas in the 39th minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Gentil Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gentil Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titas Dalinkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Hexo Utd were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Pau Nas Canelas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albertas Marcišauskas took the corner. In the 45th minute, Virgílio Benevides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Titas Dalinkevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hexo Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titas Dalinkevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristupas Vaičiūnas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Pau Nas Canelas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Daniel Monsanto hit a great ball. Kristupas Vaičiūnas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gentil Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hexo Utd. In the 61st minute, Osvaldas Gaidamavičius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gentil Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 65 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldas Gaidamavičius came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Baldovinescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Palmiro Picasso went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Palmiro Picassos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Basarab Baldovinescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 90 played minutes Pau Nas Canelas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Monsanto. Gentil Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertas Marcišauskas in the 92nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Pau Nas Canelas's Basarab Baldovinescu threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrik Beaton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hexo Utd were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
