Despite this Naldo Martins quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 11th minute Guilherme Valério shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Papi Hamburger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Viveiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Viveiros made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Papi Hamburger sent off a good shot on target. André Luiz Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Naldo Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberto Meireles in the 27th minute of the match. Juvenal Viveiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Meireles in the 33rd minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper Naldo Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Futuros FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Barbosa. AD Pontassolense's Juvenal Viveiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save AD Pontassolense from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herberto Meireles was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AD Pontassolense's Durval Parente got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Herberto Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Pontassolense's supporters rose to their feet, but Herberto Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AD Pontassolense were furious when Durval Parente was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
