Geoffroy Pernin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Geoffroy Pernin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bayern Maurich's Genaro Fagondo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Lenny Leccia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Albino Herena made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathanaël Lecluse got free with Albino Herena in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Leon Bonifaco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geoffroy Pernin. Valette Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Bonifaco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wawrzyniec Kochowski to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Bayern Maurich got a freekick which was hit by Marco Ralondo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Ralondo during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 70 minutes, Wawrzyniec Kochowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valette Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wawrzyniec Kochowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valette Stars's goalkeeper Geoffroy Pernin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Salomone took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geoffroy Pernin. Geoffroy Pernin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Leon Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoffroy Pernin having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Wawrzyniec Kochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayern Maurich played a much better game than Valette Stars and deserved their victory. The Valette Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
