The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Ziombkowski got free with Kazimierz Opat in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Dzikie Węże i Herbata's Edmund Ziombkowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the Dzikie Węże i Herbata defense, Wawrzyniec Zawacki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Wojno. The Dzikie Węże i Herbata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Wojno should have stopped the shot. Wlodzimierz Plaski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucjan Wojno. Dzikie Węże i Herbata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA booed when Dzikie Węże i Herbata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Ciborek didn't get a good kick on the ball. When RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Jurand Hyska in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmund Ziombkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Kazimierz Opat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Ziombkowski in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Jurand Hyska sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Wojno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Lucjan Wojno managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Jurand Hyska fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jurand Hyska in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucjan Wojno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Cezary Dabrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Wlodzimierz Plaski got a free kick in the 78th minute. Lucjan Wojno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Hyska in the 84th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Wawrzyniec Zawacki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Wojno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
