With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milan Cernan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milan Cernan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryštof Kapitán in the 14th minute of play. Hubert Holub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Karel Puč made a huge save. Matúš Rajniak hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After the first half Bludovice were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marek Harvan's late challenge caught a Bludovice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
