The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mădălin Bănățeanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Michel Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. Viola Invest were furious when Costel Gâdea was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 53rd match minute, Viola Invest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Gâdea to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Michel Lahm managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADM Taquaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Lahm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Bănățeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mădălin Bănățeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Batistuta in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mădălin Bănățeanu saved Viola Invest from getting behind. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mădălin Bănățeanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Ibrahimovic during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
