Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bayan Seferinov ran back to his position shaking his head. Vlado Vunchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Alcântara came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Kayalu FC's Yoakim Dafinov. But to his dismay, Yoakim Dafinov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Augusto Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoakim Dafinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoakim Dafinov in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlado Vunchev in the 19th minute of play forced Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Augusto Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Yoakim Dafinov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Alcântara. Alvinegro de Tupã's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yoakim Dafinov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Simão Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvinegro de Tupã's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gyuro Popchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gyuro Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Genadi Kortenski fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kayalu FC's protests and gave Genadi Kortenski a yellow card for diving instead. Genadi Kortenski hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Kayalu FC's Ivelin Karingov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivelin Karingov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kayalu FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivelin Karingov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kayalu FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Tencho Chukarov hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute Tostão Branco ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Gyuro Popchev. 2-3. In the 46th minute, Genadi Kortenski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vlado Vunchev to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Vlado Vunchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gyuro Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simão Machado in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gyuro Popchev saved Kayalu FC from getting behind. Kayalu FC's Gyuro Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cruz in the 59th minute of play. 4-3 became the score in the 59th minute when Christian Cruz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Genadi Kortenski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, Alvinegro de Tupã's Christian Cruz made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gyuro Popchev was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Vlado Vunchev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Augusto Alcântara, 5-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Machado in the 83rd minute of play forced Kayalu FC's goalkeeper Gyuro Popchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlado Vunchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro de Tupã's Dinei Moraes got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Dinei Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Christian Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyuro Popchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvinegro de Tupã's Augusto Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlado Vunchev in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
