The coaching staff of FC COSA NOSTRA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kastytis Švambaris had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kastytis Švambaris kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Rytis Paškevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Ferenț, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. FC COSA NOSTRA's Einaras Brūzga got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius got control of the ball when Dinu Slicaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Petre Pășcuțoiu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rytis Paškevičius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gelu Ţintea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einaras Brūzga in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Einaras Brūzga managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Einaras Brūzga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Ţintea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gelu Ţintea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominique Wilkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Ţintea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominique Wilkins went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Einaras Brūzga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gelu Ţintea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Einaras Brūzga to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Gelu Ţintea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Einaras Brūzga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Pășcuțoiu in the 55th minute of play forced FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Rytis Paškevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rytis Paškevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Ferenț in the 69th minute of the match. Claudiu Bociort hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Dinu Slicaru notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius. Rytis Paškevičius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codruț Ferenț took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rytis Paškevičius. Rytis Paškevičius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
