After 17 minutes, Ramiro Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenipapo SC and the Bisturi F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Ramiro Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bisturi F.C.'s Francesco Di Martino got control of the ball when Ramiro Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ettore Ferri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Paraibano having to make a save. Daniel Zonta took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francesco Di Martino. Francesco Di Martino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Giovanni Motta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Di Martino. Bisturi F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni Motta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Florian Petruzzi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Eurico de Sousa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovanni Motta made a kick off. Francesco Di Martino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Francesco Di Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's César Velloso made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jenipapo SC's Thiago Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Paraibano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Bisturi F.C.'s Claudio Franco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfredinho Pereira in the 82 minute of the game. Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen had several of the Jenipapo SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-4 score and a disappointed Thiago Paraibano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ramiro Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Bisturi F.C.'s Ettore Ferri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bisturi F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
