The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Fidensio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Sergi. Mladen Kertov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match, Mauricio Sergi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastião Monsanto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 25 minutes into the match, SC Angrense's goalkeeper Sebastião Monsanto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Peru. Sebastião Monsanto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Lorencio went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. SC Angrense's Sebastião Monsanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Lorencio in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Pastor Lorencio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 48 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Tzeko Kotlarski. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Lorencio was the one to do the kick off. Sebastião Monsanto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Cavaco during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61stth minute of the game Pastor Lorencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Angrense's Sebastião Monsanto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rivermania FC's Pastor Lorencio in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Angrense's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastião Monsanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. SC Angrense's Sidónio Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes, Gregório Lages mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Angrense and the Rivermania FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Gregório Lages hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Mauricio Sergi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastião Monsanto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rivermania FC's Pastor Lorencio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rivermania FC's Jacinto Guillelmus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gregório Lages in the 91 minute of the game. Jorge Veríssimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
