The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermanö Oilers's Ingvar Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Siqueira in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match, Orvar Stenquist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gianluigi Joinvilense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Orvar Stenquist came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gianluigi Joinvilense could save by the left post. Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th play minute Orvar Stenquist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gianluigi Joinvilense. 1-0. After 22 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Al Capone. A collision led to Hermanö Oilers getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Johannes Wallin hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Elivélton Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Siqueira came free, but Ingvar Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Mats Hummels got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Gustav Högström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermanö Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Högström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Siqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Ronny Blom got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 81 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Barros came free, but Ingvar Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Ekeberg came free, but Gianluigi Joinvilense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Elivélton Palmeira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ingvar Hellkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hermanö Oilers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
