Itacaruaré FC's Manuel Harriet got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Itacaruaré FC's Manuel Harriet made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Apelqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Millan in the 20th minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Anton Apelqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Billberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Folke Hökqvist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gilberto Dacio made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lars-Erik Ivarsson sent off a good shot on target. With 45 minutes on the clock, Stig-Arne Lindmark commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th minute, one of Åhus Absolut F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when Itacaruaré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Nikola hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Hjalmar Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
