A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Severino Camargo hit a great ball. Uriel Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Taborda, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Taborda in the 22nd minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Mercurio's late challenge caught a MZ Fénix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Mercurio helped the player get up and apologised.
