The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliu Gipils during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Internacional Pechofrío's Feliu Gipils got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th match minute, Internacional Pechofrío was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Salas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jack Ares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Lasso was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 13 minutes, Hector Ares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ares FC -MM- and the Internacional Pechofrío players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Hector Ares hit a great ball. When Internacional Pechofrío's Roger Bannister in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ares FC -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. After 17 minutes of play, Ares FC -MM-'s Lucrețiu Gologan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ted Lasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Jack Ares notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Internacional Pechofrío's Ted Lasso. Ted Lasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Bannister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Vancea having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Ares came free, but Ted Lasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Jack Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Lasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Ares FC -MM- got a corner. Internacional Pechofrío's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jack Ares ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eamon Ares got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ted Lasso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 33rd minute, Lucrețiu Gologan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Plăcintă in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Lasso saved Internacional Pechofrío from getting behind. Ares FC -MM-'s Codrin Vancea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ares FC -MM- from getting a goal against them. Ovidiu Dobrica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Ares was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Ovidiu Dobrica from a close distance when the talented Ted Lasso managed to make a qualified save. Internacional Pechofrío's players were relieved. Iacob Plăcintă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ted Lasso firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 59th minute, Hector Ares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Codrin Vancea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes, Enzo Salas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internacional Pechofrío and the Ares FC -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ares FC -MM- booed when Internacional Pechofrío was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Salas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ares FC -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jack Ares in the 63rd minute. After taking down the ball on Ares FC -MM-'s corner Jack Ares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ted Lasso quite easily take care of the ball. Jack Ares made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eamon Ares immediately put the ball in play. A hard shot 71 in the game by Lucrețiu Gologan from a close distance when the talented Ted Lasso managed to make a qualified save. Internacional Pechofrío's players were relieved. In the 75th minute, Espiridion Zaera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Dobrica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ted Lasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Petran came free, but Ted Lasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. At last the ball reached Iacob Plăcintă at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Internacional Pechofrío. 0-4. Lucrețiu Gologan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Lasso having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ares FC -MM-'s Eamon Ares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ted Lasso. That made the score 0-5 after 89 minutes of play.
