The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Higinio Eate scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Wenerdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Villegas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Cheche's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Higinio Eate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavaliers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Eate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Timoteo Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Uxio couldn't finish the play. Mark Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate. But to his dismay, Higinio Eate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Higinio Eate took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Wenerdahl. Mark Wenerdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Eate in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Higinio Eate notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl. Mark Wenerdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blas Jenaro charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Jenaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute Camilo Uxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Wenerdahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Higinio Eate made the kick off in the second half. Jaime Villegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Cheche in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Serafin Charro got a free kick in the 64th minute. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Berutti FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rodolfo Natal hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Eate came free, but Mark Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Villegas having to interfere. Mark Wenerdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Eate in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Wenerdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Eate in the 88th minute of play. Higinio Eate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Wenerdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cavaliers FC had won after a very even match.
