The goalkeeper, Baxter Baba, was totally fooled by POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Pegoraro La Penna, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bo Mcquoid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Constancio Brufau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carmichael Tinsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Guzman. In the 20th match minute, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pegoraro La Penna to maneuver through the defense. Sharizan Keng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constancio Brufau having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's zone, Carmichael Tinsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constancio Brufau came out of the goal and Carmichael Tinsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Sharizan Keng made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constancio Brufau was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Pegoraro La Penna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Sharizan Keng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constancio Brufau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baxter Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esa Maleta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamie Foley hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Guerau Villaescusa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Australian Youth Academy's Baxter Baba. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Sharizan Keng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constancio Brufau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Baxter Baba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pegoraro La Penna.

The wind increased when Guerau Villaescusa made the kick off in the second half. Baxter Baba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bo Mcquoid struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Constancio Brufau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Australian Youth Academy. Bo Mcquoid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Pegoraro La Penna. Baxter Baba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esa Maleta, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Carmichael Tinsley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Australian Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmichael Tinsley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Sharizan Keng scored to the left of an out of position Constancio Brufau, making the score, 3-2. If Esa Maleta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
