Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fulvio Cugini kicked off to start the match. The supporters of FC Aquile Azzurre booed when KS Ruch Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Domeradzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Cyprian Grajewski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fulvio Gabriele. The goal made the score 1-0. Fulvio Gabriele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Mlekodaj in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Fulvio Gabriele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wit Dziewedik. Fulvio Gabriele made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Tolek Mlekodaj sent off a good shot on target. Barnaba Nieuzyla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Cugini in the 35th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Fulvio Cugini made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. KS Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Nieuzyla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Simone Mihajlovič got a free kick in the 38th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolek Mlekodaj to make the kick off. KS Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Nieuzyla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save KS Ruch Chorzów from getting a goal against them. Wit Dziewedik scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulvio Gabriele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Miro Klose fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barnaba Nieuzyla, passed just outside the right post. When Korneliusz Sakowicz fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Ruch Chorzów's protests and gave Korneliusz Sakowicz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Korneliusz Sakowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes KS Ruch Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Domaracki. Filippo Grilli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Mlekodaj in the 78th minute of play forced FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Fulvio Gabriele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnaba Nieuzyla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Cugini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolek Mlekodaj scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulvio Gabriele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Dziewedik came free, but Fulvio Gabriele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Domaracki to maneuver through the defense. Beppe Bordon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Aquile Azzurre had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
