Vicente Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benja Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Dalmo Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benja Dominguez took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Catarinense. Vicente Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dalmo Linhares made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC's Marcel Brodel got a free kick in the 50th minute. Bernardo Rik struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Vicente Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurboc. 52 minutes into the game, Matías Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lupere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurboc the free kick. After 53 played minutes Lupere FC got a freekick which was hit by Matías Fontes. Tiburcio Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes of play, Hurboc's Benja Dominguez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Edmundo Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benja Dominguez in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Lupere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Thomas came free, but Vicente Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Rik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Catarinense was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Jacinto Tuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romário Gol in the 71st minute. Hurboc's Primitivo Mikelats was substituted for Cosme Thomas. 77 minutes into the match, Lupere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Rik came free, but Vicente Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Primitivo Mikelats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Vicente Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute John Wick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Hurboc were the better team. Hurboc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
