Rodrick Orlinsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Radowit Ryback made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Edgar Piwowarski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desmond Rowell. Santos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Piwowarski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Desmond Rowell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Kociniewski went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Homer Diggs to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of KS Bozywerek booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Alford didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Giuseppe Jewell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Ryback saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Kris Marks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radowit Ryback. The goal made the score 1-2. Radowit Ryback showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Jewell in the 40th minute of the match. Wieslaw Drapinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Desmond Rowell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 50th minute, Kris Marks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radowit Ryback showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Jewell in the 55th minute of the match. A hard shot 61 in the game by Eugeniusz Turok from a close distance when the talented Desmond Rowell managed to make a qualified save. Santos FC's players were relieved. 74 minutes into the game, Edgar Piwowarski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desmond Rowell. Edgar Piwowarski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Tracey Dolan got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Kociniewski in the 81st minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Desmond Rowell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radowit Ryback made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Byron Kane in the 82nd minute of play. Kris Marks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Ryback having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, KS Bozywerek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Serwach to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KS Bozywerek eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
