Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Burr in the 12th minute of the match. Desmond Rowell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Julio Almi's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. José Julio Almi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Ragland kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute José Julio Almi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desmond Rowell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Kris Marks recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manos Manteca. Kris Marks showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Jewell, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Manos Manteca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Thanh Darden hit a great ball. Santos FC's Kris Marks shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Manos Manteca but with some difficulty. Manos Manteca made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Kris Marks sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Giuseppe Jewell made the kick off in the second half. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrick Orlinsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Tracey Dolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan José J.J. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desmond Rowell having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bermúdez to maneuver through the defense. Giuseppe Jewell's late challenge caught a U. de Tarapacá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Jewell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Jewell to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Tracey Dolan got a free kick in the 65th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U. de Tarapacá reached it. 72 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Byron Kane came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan José J.J. sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Paco Raab scored to the left of an out of position Desmond Rowell, making the score, 2-1. With a little luck, Santos FC's Desmond Rowell got control of the ball when José Julio Almi tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Thanh Darden hit a great ball.
