Rómeó Végvári sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Krisztián Bodonyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Agustin Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rómeó Végvári, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Õrtilos LC's Agustin Rossi threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sándor Szuper, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Õrtilos LC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vince Kővári in the 28th minute. Krisztián Bodonyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto in the 32nd minute of play. After 35 played minutes, Lengua de Lobo's Clemente Rodriguez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krisztián Bodonyi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lengua de Lobo reached it. Lengua de Lobo's Agustin Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Kádár in the 38th minute of play. Albano Raebert charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Raebert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Õrtilos LC's zone, Ciro Farias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krisztián Bodonyi came out of the goal and Ciro Farias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Endre Csapó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Rossi having to interfere. With his leg Agustin Rossi managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Õrtilos LC's Patrik Kádár fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Lengua de Lobo booed when Õrtilos LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Szuper didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Barros Schelloto was the one to do the kick off. Krisztián Bodonyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Raebert, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Õrtilos LC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lengua de Lobo the free kick. After some careless play in the Lengua de Lobo defense, Rómeó Végvári kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Rossi. The Lengua de Lobo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Rossi should have stopped the shot.
